When the Arizona Cardinals take to the field in 2010, there will be a different look to the team. No they are not going to have new uniforms, the new look for the team will come from the strength that they have added in the offseason.
2010 looks to be a different year this time around. The team is looking to make a return to the glory that they had just a couple of years ago. The team made a lot of draft day deals that sent them into the stratosphere as far as the rebuilding efforts goes.
The team was able to make lemonade out of the lemons that they were given in regards to their draft choices. These choices were somewhat questionable by the fans of the team as to why they made the decisions that they made.
The passing game this past season got a much needed shot in the arm, with the drafting of several key players. The Arizona Cardinals war room on draft day was all abuzz with last second deals that they were trying to make happen. In the end while their wish list was not as full as they had hoped. There were several players that they were really hoping that they would be able to sign, however just like in school with the popular kids, the best players were taken well before they got to the Cardinals.
There will be a little work that will need to be done when it comes to getting a team that will be one of the toughest in the league. The team has several areas that will need to be worked on as the off season progress. The biggest area is in the passing department.
There is toughness about the schedule for the cardinals that they will need to make sure that they are able to deal with. The team is looking at a schedule that will take them to all areas of their offense as well defense. The team will be pushed to their limit in this regard. If they are able to beat the schedule, then they are a shoe in for the post season.
The team can beat the teams that they have on their schedule that is not an issue. The problem will be making sure that they don’t beat themselves in trying to be a perfect season team. Rather you are perfect or just slide into the playoffs; the important thing is who goes home with the trophy.
There are those people that are out in the world that will want to make sure that they will buy the season tickets as soon as they are on sale for them. Then the rest of the fans will want to sit back and talk about how much of a better job that they could have done if they were the head coach. Love them or hate them, the Arizona Cardinals are in a position that they will be making a run for the top spot when it comes to their mojo that they had a few years back. This will be an important season for the rebuilding of the team.
