Spider veins are smaller version of varicose veins that are visible on the skin’s surface due to their often blue or red color. Enlargement of veins causes blood pooling and results in their formation. These spider veins can be found in the back of the legs, arms, hands and even the face. Their removal is often desired by affected individuals because they cause unsightly appearances. A spider vein treatment can be evasive that requires surgery or non-evasive that only uses topical treatment.
